Re: New Red Babies
Oh. You make me so very jealous. I do so love those snakes. Maybe one day I will be able to get one.

Re: New Red Babies
They are amazing snakes, Typhanie. As long as you also have a cornsnake or ball python to handle; GTPs are fantastic. But they should be kept very much like tropical fish -- in beautiful terrariums for looking at -- handling should be kept at a minimum.
That's why my husband keeps the chondros -- I need my BP, "Monty", for snuggles and neck massages. ![]()

Re: New Red Babies
That's okay. I can understand that. I'd still LOVE to have one. I just can't have one where I live right now. Aargh.
Ah well. Such is the way things are.

Re: New Red Babies
Thanks.
The babies were both in hunting pose last night and according to the breeder's records they hadn't been fed in a while, so we decided to offer them each a fuzzy mouse, but expected that they still might be too stressed from the move. They snapped them up fast and now are happily digesting on their perches. (These two are amazing. )I just thought of a great Xmas present for Martin. I'm making a powerpoint presentation with the family tree for each of his snakes. This way when he breeds them we can have pictures and info all the way back to the grandparent generation. It's a lot of work, but fun and exciting.
