I'm STILL not sure if its male or female.

My ig is now 41 inches snout to tail length and 11 inches snout to vent length. I'm STILL not sure if its male or female. The femoral pores haven't seemed to enlarge much, and I've been telling people its female for sure. But now, this weeks, it seems to be starting to get some jowls!!!! And it head bobs straight up and down like a male. Does it several times a week sometimes twice a day. Always straight up and down slowly since it bobbed the first time, never like a jerky side to side or female type head bob.

Can the femoral pores develop later than other sexual characteristics? Or are they always the first to change? Or is it just a female but a bit of a tomboy?

Just like with people, sexual maturity arrives at different times for different individuals. If you still don't know when s/he's about 18 months old then you may want to start to to worry about it, but for now not knowing is really not a big deal.

I'm not worrying about it I'm just dying to know.

Anyway, should the femoral pores always be the first sign? Or can it come after other stuff.
