Lol, I'm not worried about it. The area I take him to (and I transfer him to it via tank) was designed for chicks. It's got two feet of plexiglass inside the whole area, so unless he can make it to the fence line, jump two feet, latch onto the fence itself just perfectly, and climb up and over before I can get to him, he won't get out. And the chances of that are extremely slim.
Let's clear something up. "Whole prey" has nothing to do with whether or not the prey item has a back bone. "Whole prey" just means that the prey item is being fed in its entirety: brains, heart, lungs, blood, the entire animal. Whole animal+intention of feeding it to another animal=Whole Prey.
Good luck with him!
Brings back memories of 13 years ago when I got that "cute little green lizard". Now he's a 20 pound 5' monster. LOL

Dominick

A few updated pictures from last week:
I tried to photograph him jumping. Obviously I missed the mid-air shot.
Then Magic decided he was going to take up guitar... and by that I mean Magic decided he was going to walk up guitar.
And I FINALLY got a picture of him eating.
