So bascially how could you tell if an iguana is a boy or a girl if it's a year and some months old? I know you can find out after a year, but I don't know what I am looking for exactly since I no longer have another ig to compare

lol yeah I'm leaning towards more physical differenciations and I'm definitely avoiding the probes lol
Can igaunas be probed? I was under the impression that they could not...?
yes they can, but it's very risky considering you can do some intestinal damage or tissue damage.
Yes they can be probed, however, it is not 100% accurate and it can cause serious damage to their bodies. And honestly I don't think you need to know that bad.
It is hard to say at only a year old, larger pores on the back legs is about it but that isn't very telling.

There are a number of pointers, but you have to have some experience. As stated the femoral pores will enlarge. The heads of males will get wider with "brain bumps" on the top and expanded wider jowls. And the sub Tympanic scale will generally be larger in males.
As stated probing in iguanas is not recommended.
