Again read the care sheet. They get the same food as the adult iguanas, you just have to chop it up really really fine. Nothing cooked, all raw. After all, no one cooks their food in the wild

Too much work you are putting into this! You're going to be so relieved.

As stated, please do read that caresheet. The iguanas' diets stay the same through their lives, with the exception of calcium and vitamin supplements, which they need more often when they're young.

You should be feeding them mostly dark leafy greens. Collards, mustards or dandelion greens are all excellent. Chop them up very fine so that the iguanas don't choke on them. Any other vegetable should be fresh and grated or chopped fine. Squashes are good, so are green beans and cabbage to supplement the dark leafy greens. Avoid spinach, lettuce of any kind and veggies like carrots.

I say you're going to be relieved because especially when they are young, they are so cheap to feed. A few dollars a week each will probably get them more than enough food, and anything they don't eat, you can.

Just don't use frozen foods if you can possibly avoid it, and don't cook any of their food at all.

Use orange fleshed squashes such as acorn or butternut.
And you grate it, peel and all. Just remove the seeds.

if the squash are too hard i cut a big piece and heat it up...im not sure if this way they loose any vitamins but its a lot softer for them to chew on, otherwise you have to cut it really small.

Do not cut the squash into chunks, grate it on a cheese grater or a food processor. The bigger the chunk the harder it is to digest. And you don't want to cook it. Raw is the way to go.
    And Sweet potatoes are fine.

I agree with Merlin... do NOT cook the squash. Grate it up, skin and all.
