This is what our member has to say: I would get a tiger or super tiger retic. They are both excellent animals....

I don't think you should get any animal, unless you really have a desire to care for it properly. No animal should be bought just because of the results of a poll, you should fully research and buy an animal because you truely want it.

Very well said Rach!
I hate it when someone posts things like "I have an empty tank tell me what to put in it!"
When you take on the responsibility of keeping an animal it should be because you have a desire and interest in that species., NOT just because you have a empty space in the room. Animals aquired for such reasons frequently end up ignored and neglected once the new wears off.

Aweome posts Merlin and Rachel, I couldn't agree more. It really gets me when a person buys an animal then does the research.

Thanks guys.

jman I'm not getting at you, please don't be offended by my points,. it's just we see so many animals in improper care these days - look at Donna's recent sadness, and we are now having troubles with Rocky's health, who we took in because of neglect from her previous owners.

I just think you need to decide on a reptile because you want it, and not ask other people what they think you should get. Hots are a whole different ball game, and no animal's care should be taken lightly, but hots are on another level.

Just want to get the message out to everyone - choose an animal because you love it and have the provisions to care for it properly, not for the sake of having another animal.

Your poll did not ask what type of reptile do you like. It was what reptile should I get next. When asked to clarify your poll you stated you were asking what you should get next. That seems to indicate that you were preparing to aquire another animal and wanted everyone else to make your choice for you.
