I have kinda a cross between a fountain and a waterfall. the pond section of my frog cage is filtered with an external filter and where the water comes back in I have part of it cascading down rocks stacked up agains the edge and some shooting out into the pond. I didn't want all the water spraying out because then it is REALLY loud. but with the way I have it set up the humidity levels actually stay perfect and I don't even have to worry about watering the plants on the land side very often.
