Aren't they neat looking. The only thing about them is the smell. You can always tell when you are near a den by the smell of cucumber.

Cucumbers? I hadn't heard that before. I wonder why they smell like that.

I don't really know. When I was living in Varney Ky. I ran into it. There was a den in my wellhouse. Had to get them removed so the water softener could be serviced. Hee hee: They were relocated from Pike County to Hazzard County.

I never heard of them smelling like cucumbers either. I can say that they stink. This little copperhead and my big berm are the 2 worst smelling snakes I have out of a collection of 15.
