Hmmmmm,,,tough one. From what I know of them I would suggest along the lines of a garter snake. I know they eat worms and slugs, are rather reclusive, and prefer cooler temps than most snakes. To my knowledge we have no keepers of them here yet, though I could be wrong. I'll try and find some links.

well I am comparing a bunch of snakes to see which on I want and the brown snake was in a classified online and I couldn't find anything about it but I don't think I am going to get one. im leaning more towards a corn or a king snake any suggestions?

I have Corns and absolutely love them. Most are very tame and they are great eaters. not to mention the so many varied morphs they now come in.

Kept dekay's in a moist enclosure, a lot of leaf litter and a few decaying logs.
Put slugs and worms and crickets in there but can't promise he ate any.. He only lived 3 years though. Get a Corn or king, bigger and have easier eating habits.
