Currently, Green Iguana Society is coordinating the Marie Poyner fund
to help provide veterinary care for her iguanas Dragon and Baby Girl,
whom she had rescued.

I just want to say Marie was a very close and dear friend of mine, Plus the best neighbor anyone would want to have. If she ever help anyone it was out of the kindness of her heart and for the wellness of your animal. The information that she had will be missed deeply by everyone here in the Community and by my family and me.

So if she helped you in any way this is a way you can help her back. Dragon and Baby will need it. I know Marie would have keep her babies alive as long as it took and she would not care about the cost.

Hello Everyone,

I hadn't visited this site in quite awhile. I just wanted to let everyone know Baby is in Canada with me since December 2006. She was very depressed for a month or two and now has come out of her shell. Back to being the cute baby girl she used to be. She is eating every day and doing the opposite of eating every day to. LOL

She has fun coming out of her enclosure and walking around the house. Her favourite spot is on the back of the couch and when out she will sit there if she has a choice the whole time. She loves it up there.
