It would be great if we could sort search results by most relevant, interesting (by views) or most recent.

When I search i'm usually doing so to make reference to an old post and I have a hard time finding it if there are 10 pages of "water dragon uvb" posts, but if I knew it was a very popular thread and could search by interestingness I might not pull all of my hair out.

I know there used to be an "advanced search" option. What happened to that?

The advanced search still exists. Click the search button at the top of the page with no word entered.

That wont sort the search results by views, ets though.
