Hello,

Today is a sad day for the HC Network. One of our founding members and staff passed away last night at 12:10 am. He was battling terminal cancer and unfortunately lost the battle.

Fran was an awesome man and a great aid to the site and its members. He was also a great friend.

I personally will miss having Fran around as will many other users who had the oppurtunity to speak with him and learn from his 40+ years of herp keeping experience.

So long as the HC Network exists, Fran will be remembered.

I will miss you my friend!

I am so sorry to hear this very sad news, may fran rest in peace, goodnight and godbless, sleep tight, you will be greatly missed by all.

I never known fran myself even on online anywhere to my knowledge. But apparently my fiancee donna has and Marsha. I am just here to send my condolences of respect that the loss of life period is a shame no matter who one is. From the threads read about him here today, Fran was a great leader and friend to many both on a personal level and knowledgable on his joy of reptiles. I know the World needs true experienced people with the public relations skills needed that this individual shared with you all. He is a great loss to HC as well . I want to send with this message, to the friends and most important his family, my condolences and apparently them to focus on all the positive honorable moments that Fran has set for you all. I apparently you all during this time of mourning of this great leader, to send a prayer before you go to bed for him tonight, and keep him always within your hearts. God Bless you Fran and rest in peace.
