Such sad news for us! I loved Fran's clever signatures and was often helped by his excellent herp advice.
At least he's not suffering anymore. My condolences to his family and friends.

He will be missed. His wit was always the highlight of any conversation. Our herp freinds that have past are now in some of the most caring hands.

i also never really knew Fran that well but from the time I joined till now there was always posts I read where he shared his knowledge and experience with us. i knew he was ill from some of the posts I read but I must admit this was a shock to me. when I read this thread I can honestly say that my jaw dropped and it saddens me to hear about the loss of such a great man even though I didn't know him except for his posts. my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and those here at HC. i also agree that our friends who have passed are in the best of care.

I didn't know Fran personally except for his posts here at HC and pre HC. But I knew he was a man of caring and wisdom.I have definitely benefited from him. You will be missed Fran.
