Subscriptions

Hello,

A new feature has been added to Herp center. As the title suggests, this feature is called "Subscriptions". Subscriptions are explained here:

Subscriptions

Those of you that are already "Maroon" have these options applied to your account already for assisting with the server move. If I missed anyone that contributed to the move, please let me know as it wasn't intentional.

I dont think you have to have pay pal to make a donation or pay for anything, just click the pay pal link and follow the instructions.

Marsha is right. I have used paypal different times to transfer monies to Herp Center. Just go through "Make Donation" and you will be at paypal. There are then two ways to go. One for those without a paypal account and one for those with a paypal account. All you need is to have your debit or credit card handy. Since then I have opened a paypal account anyway.

Hello,

The system for subscriptions is attached to a business account. This means that you can use an existing paypal account or you can use their secure system to process a payment via credit card or debit card.

Are there other payment gateways that users would like to see attached to this system?

Is there any way to set up a direct debit feature??? I don't have paypal and also don't have a credit/debit card. I can set up standing orders through my bank tho.

Also, does payment have to be made monthly, or can we do quarterly or yearly subscriptions?

Hello,

If someone wants to pay for a few months-a year at a time, I can manually add them to the usergroup for the time that they invested for.

I am not sure what a standing order is. Could you explain that for me.

A standing order is like a bank draft that is taken from ones account on the same day of every month automatically.

Hello,

I wouldn't want to set up direct withdraw from someones bank account. I would feel very uncomfortable if something went wrong.

You could always open a paypal account (its free) and they can attach your bank account to your PP account for you. You can also add funds from your bank account to a PP account and then use the system that way.
