HC is currently in the midst of obtaining legal ownership of the domains that I have purchased. When HC first began, we utilized a service that included registration of domains with the package. I have come to find out however that the service registers the domains under their account. In essence, they own the domain. However, since I paid for them, I SHOULD be legal owner.

I have been working with the registrar of the domains and we are getting everything sorted. I had to display proof of purchase, etc. in order to have these domains switched to my name. I should have all of the sites domains pointing to their respective site within the next 48 hours.

Many of the features and implementations I intend to install on this site require that we have the domain pointing here. Once the name change has taken affect, I will be shutting down HC for roughly 6 hours. During this time, I will be installing several modifications that the site needs and utilizes. (Spellcheck, navigation modules,sponsorships,donation module,subscriptions,CHAT,etc.)

There will be several of the old modifications installed, and several new modifications installed.

I apologize to everyone for the sites url. lol I myself don't like it, but I will have that and other issues sorted as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding!

yay!....i'm just happy we get a chat..everything else is all fine and dandy! you've done a great job already rich, keep it up, no need to apologize because we all understand how hard it must be to run a forum this big and then to move it and have all of the problems you had. Dont worry about it, but keep up the awesome work.

The "public" chat is still a little ways off. In order to open a public chat, I would need more funds. We currently have a bill of $50.00 per month so that is a little ways off.

We DO have a private chat available right now. Read the subscriptions page! This will help pay for the site AND possibly purchase the public chat on a private server. (Subscribers will get their own chat when we get the funds for a public chat. )
