Nice to seem some action taken for a change! I tried to stop a carnival worker when the fair was here last year, but no one did anything (I trusted my mom and her boss, who is on the club that handles the fair's issues, to tend to it... they never did of course...) If the guy is back this year, I'm calling the police...

Also, Goose Creek is right next to me... I will have to see when and where it is so that I can check it out and make sure they haven't picked up any new people to do the same nasty things to animals!

OMG that is awful. I hate to see neglected, mistreated animals. I am glad they were taken away, finally some justice.........

How horrible it is to think that people could do something like that it makes me wonder do they have a heart? that is just like mis treating a child leaveing it alone to starve!

I am so glad that something was done its sad to think that there are cases like that all over the world even more horrid!

Hello,

That is certainly a sad story. Unfortunantly,he will be fined and not jailed. Hopefully the animals go up for adoption and are not put down.

This is another great example of how herpers should think twice before taking on reptiles (like big snakes, in this case) without fully knowing their care requirements. Although, neglact was another reason, in this case.

Makes me sick...

These kinds of stories always make me sick to my stomach because you know for every one case they find there must be many more that exist. I think of my little Buckbeak baby and I can't imagine other reptiles having to live the way those poor creatures were forced to live.

That's just horrid.
Thank God someone had the guts to report it to the police... too many people just look the other way or assume someone else is going to do it or has already done it. (When it comes to filing complaints on suspected animal abuse, better too many than not enough IMO)!!
