I am amazed it took someone this long to notice that our listed member count doesn't match the user ID they were assigned when they joined. lol I myself pick up on that everywhere I go. Now I would have been really concerned though if it said "5,000 members" and I was user "1,213". (Which I have also run into. lol Can someone say "fake users"?) lol

It could be a "smart" system which when a user is deleted, it fill in that missing number so there's a constant "sequence" from 1 to whatever Now, for someone to code that is just insane and way to into keeping things neat. But it is also easy to "fudge" stats if you wanted to. In my forum, I can make myself have posts, even though I only have a few hundred

For anyone else interested in knowing their user ID, simply place your mouse over your name in any thread. The end number attached to your name is your user ID. (That was left when the URL's were rewritten to disspell any issues with duplicate names when spaces or characters were replaced.)

I would like to thank everyone here for all their help and support it has been an awesome experience finding all the wonderful people here and all the great advice. If all goes well my new water dragon will be arriving later today. When i spoke to the pet store i bought my first one from and told them what happened the owner apologized a thousand times over and ordered me a new one from a reputable breeder.

Thanks Rich for all your dedication and hard work to make the discussions so long ago a reality! I remember you saying we would hit 5k some day. It seemed so very far away, yet here we are! You are da man with a plan.

I'm so proud of the site, the members and the best Mod Team on the net!

It was a rocky start, but we held to our belief that a friendly site with knowledgable staff and constant sharing of good, accurate information would be successful. Far from the sites we modded so many years ago!
