A Call For Assistance

Hello,

As many of you know, we are creating the Reptile Information Database. Several sites have displayed a keen interest in the information we are making available and have added the R.I.D directly to their site using the supplied method we offer.

Another site is also implementing some of the features of the R.I.D. In particular, the caresheet section.

Chris Gerikh is the web developer for Reptile UV. Reptile UV is currently in the process of having our caresheet section revised to meet the sites layout and appearance and then they too will be making the information available to their viewers.

If you have ever visited Reptile UV you would have noticed the beautiful images at the top of the pages. These images change depending on the page you are on. We are looking to implement this image tranfer, page specific to the reptile being described, within the caresheets themselves.

I am hoping that you, the members, will be able to help with this.

We are in need of your pictures. Specifically, we are in need of "headshots" of your reptiles.

We can't use just any old image you have. These images need to be clean and crisp. Blurry pictures won't even be considered.

If you would like to help, and can offer head shots of your reptiles that are decent in size, and are clean and crisp, I encourage you to do so.

What reptiles do we need? ALL of them! While we currently only have 30+ caresheets, that index is going to continuously grow. As it does, we will need additional images. If you have a herp image, amphibian image, or turtle/tort image that you would like to donate, please do.

Any images used will give the contributor a FREE years subscription on HC.

By posting an image in this thread, you are granting me a royalty free copy of this image. I will be free to do with it what I wish. This includes modifying it for use in the headers.

I appreciate everyone that helps with this. Thanks everyone!

Will this do for the Eatern Collared Lizard?

If not, let me know, and I'll take a couple more head macros.

That is a beautiful shot chrome! thank you very much. THAT is the type of quality I am looking for! If you could, take one more shot with a bit more neck. I may require it when I layer the image.

I'll see what I can do. I think I have the original on disk, and it may have more neck.

Hi Rich:
Here are a couple ideas from my photo-album. If any of these are of interest to you, I can try to find the originals (bigger; better resolution.)

Baby Chondropython: (Do you need a caresheet written for GTPs?)

Adult Chondropython:

Peruvian Rainbow Boa: (Do you need a caresheet written for rainbow boas?)

Python regius:
