I don't know if tokays and Crested Geckos are closely related, but in humans, one chromosone can make a huge difference. It can mean the difference of being normal, or having downs syndrome and being mentally retarded and often suffering from physical defects as well.

I don't know how close they are chormosome-wise, but I would much rather meet a 3ft crestie in a dark alley than a 3ft tokay! I love to look at them but they are mean!

Most of the myths about Green Tree Pythons are due to the fact that they are often confused with Emerald Tree Boas... so you have both types being called aggressive, difficult to care for and not able to be handled.

Here's another myth: "ball pythons are a good beginner snake" ! The finicky eating habits of BPs is enough to make a grown herpetoculturist cry. I love my BP to pieces but he's frustrated me to the limit more times than I can count!

That is true about Ball Pythons. My first snake was a ball python. He would not eat and he did not survive.

my first snake was a ball aswell.
he woulden't accept frozen/thawed mice, only liked live mice and young rats
had him for 4 years until he passed away for an unknown reason with no symptoms at all.
