first my question on lighting. I was considering for my tank I am building to use the 18 inch drawer lights (just florescence (spelling?)) since they are not going to be used for a heat source they should be fine for day light. now I know they have the colored sleeve that you can put on them so I was considering buying a blue sleeve to put on a second florescent for a night light. Would this work or would too much white light shine through?

Now my second questiong in the bottom of my tank is I figure going to be about 2 1/2 gallons of water and I want it to run to a water fall at the top. now I have found a water pump for 2-5 gallon aquariums that I am considering buying but I dont really want to put the pump in the water visual reasons... now the water sucks through the bottom of the pump so I was considering putting it upside down coming through the bottom of the tank and then running the hose to the top of the tank... only thing I wonder is would this work being the pump is upside down?
