(On the topic of humidity)

While browsing though a Drs Foster & Smith catalog,

Came across a product under the foggers & humidity,
Called Humidi mat, its a porous mat that is soaked overnight, patted dry
then placed on the substrate up to 2 weeks before being resoaked.

ANY one heard of this product or even ventured to use it.

I have had some humidity problems in the summer time and was thinking
maybe it can be used during the warmest time But the advertisement does
give any indication on cleaning or sterilizing between uses.

never heard of it...i don't think I would need anything to help with humidity here..i have PLENTY of it.

Ive heard of it, but im doubtful lol, i think getting an automatic misting system would be better

I may or may not have heard of something similar. I call it a sponge lol, seriously though, I too would trust a misting system or humidier better. A moist mat sounds like a breeding ground for fungus and bacteria.
