they know they are doing wrong..they have to know they aren't caring for those animals..if they were caring for them the right way, they wouldn't be acting all embaressed and feeling funny..

If they were caring for them the right way we wouldnt be having this convo its no surprise that ppl dont like them, we cant force them to but we can force petco to hire ppl that know about herps and will care enough for them to keep them healthy

its like th ecentocans and pets worlds here in spain they have ne or two people that feed the herps reg. but the temps and humidity are te thing tats the prob the bas they havr there are on 40% humid

I have one of the better petcos somewhat close to where I live and it's still not great. The lady in the reptile department at least seems to try to keep them cared for but she doesn't seem too knowledgable. I've pointed out herps that have escaped or are in the wrong enclosure about 5 times now and they always get about 2 or 3 people to take care of it. Though they still can't seem to keep their CWDs healthy enough.

Petstores and Chinese Water Dragons dont mix...Water Dragons are easily stressed, pet stores have high traffic with low care for them, low humidity and often times too low of temps..

Any human who holds animals in the high regard they desearve.......with integrity, dignity and respect should boycott an establishment as atrousous as Petco.
It's nothing but a monstrosity.

It's not just Petco though. PetSmart, Petland. Just because these pet stores are chains doesn't mean they are smarter. I have 2 PetSmarts by my house. Both of them have Mali Uros. Both stores have the humidity too high and water dishes in the tanks. I politely ask them to print me off a caresheet and when they return I point out to them that they aren't following their own caresheet. Do you think they change it?? NO! Every time I go back it's the same story. It's not even about educating them anymore. It's about them hiring competent people. People that will be willing to handle herps. It's just like te old saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"; you can give these people jobs but you can't make them do it.
