My snake is gone!

O.k. I went to clean out the tank and realized my snake was gone! We are trying to find it but we are not having any luck.

look under the fridge, washer,dryer freezer stuff like that first

Look under the couch, cushions etc...anywhere it is dark and small enough for a snake...you will find them in the strangest places.

trust me, i've been in your position many a time, my friend.
in my experience snakes do not travel far.
where you loose them is exactly where you find them............in the general vicinity. look in any dark spots where he or she could cave nestled in near the tank.
my guess, your snake is right under your nose.

Maybe put out a couple of nice cozy hides on top of heating pads to try to draw him into it.

when my python escaped, i found him 5ft away curled up behind some boxes of junk just inside the door to the basement steps.

i've also heard about lining baseboards with duct tape thats sticky side up from several internet sites. snake gets caught in it and the next morning you find him. sounds kinda inhumane though.

could also look around areas providing heat. when the savanah monitor I had 7 years ago escaped, i remember finding him hanging on the back of my pc enjoying the warm airflow :P

look under the tv aswell..is where I found my corns in england when they got out..

look under all your furniture as well, i know a pain in the butt but they dig it there.......
