Another new addition on it's way!!

So, I am getting a lot of response to the rehoming ad I placed on the classifieds!!

I have a bearded dragon coming and a Yellow bellied slider on Thursday. I don't have the means for either of these so a good friend of mine who is also a reptiholic will be taking the Bearded Dragon and the YBS shall be going to a local aquatic centre as a family member not a sale animal.

When the Bearded Dragon gets collected on Friday, I am going to be getting a male collared lizard (confsing you yet lolol)

I have a pic on the PC of him which I will load later to give you all a sneak peek! does anyone else keep them here and can you point me to a good care sheet I can print (haven't checked HCN yet lol) and give me any things I should look out for? I know he is coming from a good home but has been slightly bullied by one of the females from his group hence why he will now be one of my scaly kids.

Pics to follow

PS - did anyone see the pics I posted of the skinks I got?

Cool!!! Glad to hear the "rehoming" is going well. There are several collard lizard owners on site...I am not one of them (yet lol) . Good luck...Lyn

I had a female collard for a few months while I rehabed her. She was awesome, full of personality. Be careful, they are FAST! Be sure to keep her temps nice and hot, the reason I got Satin was because her owners were keeping her too cool so she wouldn't eat or drink or leave her basking spot.

this is her the first day I got her, i didnt think she would make it:

around a month later:

Aww Lacey - you obviously did a great job with her - I am already thinking of locating a female for Chester but will have to see how he goes first. Here is the pic his current mum sent me (she is a great keeper and I know he has been very well cared for by her) Basically, he has always been kept as parrt of a group but he is now a little behind the others growth wise and his current keeper, Tracy, feels he would be better placed elsewhere on his own. So, without further ado - this is Chester, my soon to be new baby!!
