Stacking sterilites

I'm sorry I post so many questions but I was wondering if it's a bad idea to stack sterilites with snakes. I have air holes on the sides of them as well as the top and I'm just considering conserving space, if it's a bad idea then I'll simply find another way to put them.

If there are any issues with stacking sterilites, heating, air circulation etc...I would like to know the pros and cons of it.

Also, how big of a size difference can there be when housing two cornsnakes together, for now I have all my snakes seperate. Of course I'm keeping breeds seperate but I was wondering if it is safe or even a good idea to house two corns together. I have two now and was thinking it would save so much space to house them together but only if it's safe for them. Chezza is about 20 inches long now and the new corn is 14 inches long but a bit skinnier. I would of course not put them together until about a month from now and before I put them together I would have the new one checked for parasites. I also want to make sure that he gets a little bit thicker before putting them together to even out the sizes a little (he's a little on the skinny side but not too much).

I had another question. A person I met today houses corns and milksnakes together, they are about the same size right now but I was wondering if that is bad, I have no idea except that I've always heard not to house two seperate species together.

Thanks for all the answers you guys always give me. And thanks for putting up with all the questions. I guess I just want to be 100% sure that I know what I'm doing rather than taking one persons advice or reading a care sheet and only knowing what's on there.

The only problem with stacking sterilites would be heating them. It will make it difficult to control the heat of each individual enclosure with them stacked on top of each other. As long as there are sufficient air vents on the sides and you have air space around the boxes the air flow will be fine. Cornsnakes should be of the same size if housed together. However I wouldn't do it. Although not as common as with some species, there have been documenteds cases of cannibalism in corns. Some people have kept them together without problems but there is always that concern. To me it isn't worth the risk.
The person who is housing corns and milksnakes together is asking for trouble. Kingsnakes amd milksnakes are both Lampropeltis species and are known for eating other snakes.

That is NOT a problem! Questions and answers are why we are here. I personally would rather have the same question be asked and answered a dozen times then to have one animal suffer for the lack of someone knowing what to do.
