Rich, great post! Mods - you are all great!

It is understandibly frustrating, sometimes, when people ask "I am getting a (fill in the blank), what should I do?". Though my response is usually "Do a quick Google search on Bearded Dragon, or Corn Snake, or Tegu care and you should find lots of information", I am always polite. As are the people here.

I feel that the question is asked on these sites for fear of misinformation elsewhere - which is a good thing considering SOME pet store employees (I hope it's not laziness LOL). Most sites, however, have Care Sheet links that are easily accessible, and a quick link usually suffices in handling the question.

Thanks Knox... That is the exact reason I wanted to be a part of this Great Team... I too in the past have been on other sites where people are rude and it is just uncalled for. I have actually been BANNED from and unmentioned site for telling a mod about what I though about how he replied to some people. Sometimes I feel that most site have forgot the whole reason site like this were started. They just like to give a simple answer like "do a google search", or "you should have researched before..." and stuff like that when in fact they are forgetting that, that is why we are here, to ANSWER thier questions and to help where we can, NOT to point them in some other direction, or to be rude to them. That is why the HC Network WILL surpass ALL other forums that were started before us. WE are a team here, and a great one at that, and it sure is nice to hear it from our members... Thanks again...
