Happy Holidays!

I generate our Christmas cards for the last 10 years. First it was 1 lizard, then 2..then 3. Now we have 4.

I thought last year was a pain -- hauling 3 lizards to the beach, amusing the nearby lifeguard.

The annual photo shoot was more like herding cats this year - all 4 were thinking or doing different things at the same time; Vega$ was annoyed at Darby, Darby wanted to climb the xmas tree, Yucca wanted to chase Daytona and Daytona wanted to go poop, which she did.

In the end it was worth it! I've uploaded one of the shots to our web page at http://www.beachy-iguana.com

We hope that you have a safe and great holiday!

Great shot. They look like they've been behaving; just hanging around chilling, waiting on you.

Your Christmas photo is terrific. It is worth all of the hard work [and probably fun] you put into taking it. Well done!

I have never heard of a Grand Cayman Blue Iguana before and I have bookmarked your page so I can go back to it and read some more. It certainly is a beautiful creature.

Thanks! I love the Blue Iguanas, even if I do get chased around in the pens :O Some of the males are grumpy in the morning when we had to feed them, so they'd chase you; I'd safeguard myself with the two pails (one with new food, one for old food to dump into).

I have to still work on my 2004 and 2005 photo albums for online. I'll prolly do that over Xmas break sometime. I'll also work on back-filling my blog too with anecdotes and photos.

Here's a some pics from my 2004 trip:
