I recently took the substrate out of the habitat that I have and changed the scene of it also. I started out with the desert theme, but I took a liking to the forest look. Also my AFT was not eating when the substrate was in there, might have been lack of maneuverability, or impaction, don't know, but its gone, I just have reptile carpet in it now. She does great, and now I would like to put something on the floor but I don't know what. I don't want it to make it hard for her to get around, and I don't want it to cause her not to eat. So does anyone have any Idea's what would be a good item to put in the bottom?

Hey McBlev6, I use rubber bathmats and puppy training pads in the bottom of my cages. And also use newspaper, paper towels. I know that these items are safe and you will not have to worry about inpaction problems. And it should not interfear with eating either. Hope this helps.
