A Second Chance

I had to make a run to the hospital today. (in the car) As I started down the highway I noticed that I had a hitchhiker. Hanging on to one of the wipers was a young med. gecko. I pulled over and snatched him off and put him in a cricket box. I gave a biker's salute to some horn blowing rednecks and went about my way. When I returned home I turned him loose and by then he was calmed down. Here he is, alive and sunning.

Not really Rich. The little booger upon release considered me as a giant threat. That's ok as long as he joins his thousands of relatives eating bugs around here. Of course with Becca none of them are safe. She picks them up and holds them up so they clamp their little jaws on her earlobes and walks around wearing her "organic" earrings.

Cute little bugger Fran, but the one in the pic is a brown anole, not a house gecko. I'd put $100 on that. A cool lizard none the less though
