2 Year Old Male Swift Died today

My swift Mr. Big died today. The cricket in the cage are all where he died. My question is about the female, Carrie. I'm in the middle of cleaning the cage (and getting rid of the crickets). She seems fine, but is there anything I can do. Will she be okay without her partner? What is the best thing to do to try to keep her healthy?

Thank you!

I'm very sorry to hear this nynaeva

Very importantly, do you know what he died of?? As if it was some kind of illness you would be wise to completely clean and sterilise the cage and monitor the female closely if she was housed with him, as she could become ill too.

Though I believe reptiles do recognise and care for their companions, most species are solitary animals and so she will be fine on her own.
