Hello, me and my brother went out hiking earlier this morning to scout a local for my new cache and got an unexpected surprise. I was hoping to find some lizards up there but there were none, we got there to early and left before the sun got on the trail, so we didnt see any.But anyways the trail we were on was a 75 degree incline in some spots talk about a crazy hike!! Well we got to the half way point which is an open area sticking out of the side of the mountain and boy was it WINDY!!! There were gusts of about 50 MPH!!! It felt like we were gonna get blown off the side of the mountain, we had to lean sooo far into the wind it felt like we almost parallel to the ground. But, I did get some pretty neat pics of the trees and trail, the trees and bushes around here are starting to turn their fall colors, some are red and yellow.
Here are the pics we got.
This is a part of the trail we could keep our balance long enough to get a pic.
This one is from the half way point looking towards Ogden canyon. I could barely keep my balance long enough to get the pic, it is hard to keep your balance in the strong winds while looking through a view finder on a camera.
