First you need to decided how much you are willing to spend not only for your pet reptile but supplies, housing, food and time careing for your new addition. Do you currently have any housing available, if so what size etc is it. This information will help us give you a better idea and be able to help you.

im planning on slurging on a nice new tank somewhere in the 20-40 gal range, i dont care if it takes alot of time after school, i can get info from my instructors and theyll actually know what theyre talking about if I have issues because I go to an animal school xD. I dunno I think id spend 100-120 on the reptile itself because ive been saving up and I dont wanna get too, too extravagant on setup. AMy mom has written small animals, no snakes in the animals allowed to purchase section of the form, the school will not allow me to purchase chameleons alligators etc for reasons such as legal if they were ever to move out of state liability issues etc

I am going with my school to a herp expo. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should get at this rare opportunity gor a breeder purchase??? I go to an animal school so I can get info if I have a problem from my instructors and ill get legitimate info, i am not allowed to purchase large lizards or any snakes because my parents wont let me. Also no chameleons or allgators etc beause the school doesnt let me. I will splurge on a 20-40 gal tank because I have been saving, i am willing to pay anywhere from 100-120 dollars for a specimen, and not too expensice for caging. Any suggestions?

Well, depending on how much you can spend on a set up...a leopard gecko is an interesting yet easy reptile...or a Bearded Dragon...but with a Bearded Dragon, you have to worry about UVB lighting and fresh greens as well as bugs....good luck...and if you are talking about the show in Manchester NH, I will probably be there also....
