juvenille wd overly aggressive!

My female water dragon is making the transformation from baby to juve..and its not pretty...shes not too aggressive with me, maybe because i handle her everyday, but shes bitten my boyfriend everytime he picks her up, and when i bring her around ppl shes constantly whipping at anyone who gets too close..my males been doing the same thing...but hes a lil older then her, and he only bites the vet for some reason... but hes whipped me plenty of times..lol, is it natural for females to be more aggressive while they are juvenilles?

Sounds like my teenage daughters LOL....but seriously, I would assume (even tho I dont have a wd, but have iguanas) that they go through a "teen" type of adolescent stage that could cause this. But Stand your ground...don't NOT handle her if she is acting aggressive. She will only take it as "If I do this she will leave me alone"....good luck...Lyn
