brown snake
Hi. I have a brown snake with a tannish stripe down his back and black spots on his sides. He also has a black tongue. What kind of snake is he? He is about a foot long and my guess is around there months old. He has already shed one time. And will only eat earth worms.

brown snake
Hi. Thanks for responding so soon. I went to that website and looked at the pictures of snakes. That's when I came across a picture of Dekay's brown snake, That is the snake I have it looks just like that one. I'm glad that you were able to provide that site it really has helped. It took me two months to find out what he eats. Petco kept telling me crickets and fish but he wouldn't touch them. I even started breeding crickets for him now I have a tank full of crickets I guess I'll just keep them as little pets.
I checked out your website it is cool that you care so much about animals not alot of people would do that. I rescue to but only cats and dogs until I seen little kids from the neighborhood torturing that poor little snake. any ways thanks a mill and take care. |

Yeah, brown snakes specialize in eating worms and slugs. At a foot long, he's also full grown, not three months old
They're neat little snakes.
