WOW, the forum's a bit different. Not extremely different, but different enough. New categories and such, plus my crap is all gone. Hmm, I'll have to wait a LONG time before I can get a profile pic and an avatar back on here, wait, maybe not, we'll see.

Anyway, I graduated from BMT (Basic Military Training) on September 10th. I am no longer at Lackland AFB (Air Force Base) (oh, and AF is Air Force, cause I may use that one later on). Now I'm living at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo,Texas. Here I'll be going through my technical training. My training will be 17 weeks long cause my job is Signal Intelligence Analysis. Unfortunately, I have to wait till me security clearance is issued. See, 1N4 (Signal Intel Analysis) requires a top secret security clearance, the highest level of clearance. It will be about 2 months, more or less, till my clearance is granted. I can't start classes till then, so I'll be doing details around the base till I get my clearance. I'll also find out where my permanent duty station will be. That's the base I'll live and work at. I'm really hoping for Eglin AFB. Its in the panhandle of Florida, near, um, I forget the city. Anyway, that's where I'd like to wind up.

Hmm, well, I haven't been home since I left for basic, nor will I return there till I've completed tech school, which may be in April Thats a long way off. Oh well. Its nice to have some freedom now though. I'm off duty right now, using the library computers on base since I can't have my own. Ah, its just nice to be able to eat what I want, take my time eating, and to have pop (soda). Ah, Mountain Dew. Glorious Mt. Dew. How I've missed you so!

Speaking of missing, I miss my critters too I won't see them for a long time yet either. Plus it may be several weeks or months after tech school is over with till I can bring them down with me. I just hope I don't get deployed, that would really mess up my plans, especially if I got blown up So, can anyone fill me in on what's been going on around here? I don't have the free time I used to have, so you won't see my on here all night and all day like it used to be. Oh well, at least now I get paid though. This is pretty sweet actually. I make about $1,350 a month, plus I get full health and dental for free, plus if I take some college I get 100% tuition assistance (free college), plus I have all my houising and meals paid for since I live on base. Plus the BX (Base Exchange) is where I buy anything I need, for less than you civilians buy it at Walmart, and with no sales tax either (neener neener neener ). Ok, I gotta go see if I can use yahoo messenger on this thing now...

Oh, and why am I a junior member? And why does it say I have 3 PMs, but then my inbox says I have 0? I'm easily confused, so I am currently confused.
