New Herp Vet!
We were just blessed with the arrival of a herp vet in the next town! She won't touch snakes but is supposted to be great with lizards! Her name is Dr. Redfern. This is great! My next closest herp vet is 1 hour away! Since my wife has banned snakes I don't care if she doesn't treat them. Anyone ever heard of her? She is now in Landrum SC.

that's kind of weird that a vet that has training in exotics, has a phobia of snakes. It seems that if you are offering care to reptiles, youd have more snakes than lizards.
Just a thought.

I thought so myself but according to another vet she has a lot of experience with lizards. I am just glad that there will be someone local. If I had been able to get my cham to a vet when I first found him sick and not six or seven hours later he might have lived.

Thats great news Hide Clyde, it's a pain when there are no herp vets about, I struck lucky, my vet is only ten mins away and they have one that specializes in lizards and one snakes and lizards, Mr Jennings my vet is called, and he is great.
I think he likes to see the reptiles after so many fury animals and he is great with them ![]() |
