I hate spring!

Well, I went outside on this lovely sunny day and it's like "Arachnophobia" at the back of our house!! Yuk loads of little spiders running everywhere, I'm not happy!!!

How is it that I can sleep in the same room as tarantulas but a little spider sends the creepy crawlies up my back?!

Just thought I'd share my lack of amusement as the bad things about Spring emerge!

That doesn't make a lot of sense now does it!

I'm completely with you about spiders! I can't stand them. Maybe your tarantulas don't bother you because it's not running around loose?

Me too!! - especially the part when the spider drops down on her in the shower, or when they pick up the one in the popcorn.. yuk!! I used to watch it all the time when I was younger (even though it gave me nightmares! ) but I haven't seen it in a while.. I was overcoming my phobia a little at a time, but I think it sent me right back to where I was before! - Joe wanted to laugh at me so much when I was freaking out and shreeking at the eight-legged super-spiders

I love arachnids! I don't allow spider killing around here, only careful hand-relocation of poisonous ones.

That's a horrible movie - there's no reason for people to fear the vast majority of spiders...

Oh Eric, I would never ever kill a spider, or have someone kill it - that's cruel and unnecessary,. although if there's one in my bedroom then I'm afraid it has to be taken outside!

Ah yes "Arachnophobia" is way down there with "Anaconda" and "Jaws" - absolute classics but ridiculously made up, and ammunition for those stupid people who think all snakes, sharks and spiders will kill you given half a chance!

Lil angels

At my house there are always spiders around the scareist encounter I had was when a brown recluse walked across my shoe in my bed room! I caught him and let him go in the woods a coulpe of blocks away.

I don't even move them unless they'll cause painful bites if accidentally provoked... I'd rather live with spiders than their prey (which usually find me tasty). Moving web-spinners for aesthetic reasons sometimes happens, but those jumping traveller types are free to roam.
