new tactic
for those of you that drink, i think I may have found a new way to approach semi- aggressive reptile. Simply get drunk. Heres the thing. I myself am right now, and I have approached my Flying gecko( which I finnaly caught for the first time), my savannah monitor, and my red tail boa which are all either aggressive or scared, like I have never before. And in these few moment I think I have made more progress than ever before. this my be the alcohol talking, but if not, than drinking may definately help you approach aggressice herps.

I like the idea boz
, maybe one day ill try it with a cobra while im sitting on top of a crocodile and holding a bottle of Johnny Walker! Or not! Try the same approach (minus the liquor) tommorow, and see if maybe it was some other factor, your hands might even smell appealing b/c of a mixer you used! just a possibility! And did you have a few drinks WITH your herps, maybe they just too intoxicated to care! haha boz your crazy! -cf |

I know the feeling, my brothers parrot wouldnt do anything but bite me since we got it. Well the other night I was studying and I just started reading aloud to the bird, after about two hours the bird wouldnt shut up, it was mimicing me to the max, it was doing a bad job though. But anyways to make it short, I can now hold the bird, get it to speak on command, call the bird, and make it yell at my cat!
Its so cool, its bonded more to me now than my bro, i hope he tries to pawn it off on me, ill play it cool and be like "no I cant take it I have too many pets" then ill just keep it! HAHAH its the best making accomplishments with stubborn/aggresive animals, it lets you know that there is hope and a possibility for change with everything in the world. OO the parrot is a quaker parrot, and its more aggresive than a pitbull thats been cropped, clipped, chained, locked up and beaten! But thats only towards people that it doesnt like and those that wear hats. -cf |
