Yeah, as many may know all computer technology hates me. Its just a fact. I don't know how or why, but they all do. To add further evidence of this, my computer's internet has suddenly and mysteriously stopped working. All the computer junkies on base have no idea what's wrong (I think it frustrates them almost as much as me!). They know the problem, they just don't know why its there or how to fix it. To add even MORE to this, the computer back home has apparently crashed, taking hundreds, if not thousands, of my pictures with it. These are photos of family events, wildlife, and mostly my pets. Not only have I permanently lost some of my best photos, but I've lost photos that were the only thing I had left of pets that have passed from this world. Man I hate computers.

Coimpletely restart your whole hard rive, download a SAFE VIRUS BLOCKER OR BUY ONE, BUY OR DOWNLOAD SPYWAREWARE ELIMINATORS, ADWAR ELIMINATORS, AND WORM KILLERS!

My computer is so freaked up that even with the cd to reset my whole hard drive I still cannot restart it because it's so messed up. The computer, not the cd. So I am stuck with 14gigs out of 21... Infact I have been stuck like this for months and my comp has incredibly slowed down...

I ecommend you do something asap or your computer could be like mine!

oh my im doing 2 dowloads right now, codecs and a game, and man im gonna be here for a while.................i can feel the sleep coming into my brain getting tired of all this com. stuff too.....when its working it needs stuff done when we get it all done it kills over again

Sorry to hear that Matt, your data is still probably recoverable, has anyone formatted the drive yet if so then no, but if its just a crash, your data might be saveable, I keep all stuff like that onto a spare HD, in what way has your pc crashed at home, I would be totally gutted if I lost all my photos and things, and whats the problem with your internet?

Hey! Well, I reformatted my comp, and hopefully it worked. Yeah, I've got AVG virus protection, but if it was a virus, I imagine it got in before that. Plus my dad's best friend is a computer genius. He does something with computers for a living and thinks he may be able to save my stuff gfrom the other home computer after all.
