i have had to piont out to the people at the petstore, dead dried up anoles in the aquariums, that had to be there for 1 week at least, and not just one but like 5!, then I had to piont out that they had a fish in with a bunch of guppies, and it was at the top not moving while they ate him! but he was still alive. also lots of deads snails floating in the aquiariums, and the same with their african clawed frogs...dead on the bottom half eaten! and of course the manager was a complete idiot. uck, i hope you get something done , but I am glad to see you tried. maybe as more people do try more will get done.

its sad to say this and please dont hate me but you cant save them all. if you went into every petstore and brought every animal that wasnt being cared for properly you wouldnt have the funds to take care of the ones you already own. all you can do is compain to the authorities. if they wont help and you just cant stand to see it anymore try and see if threatening the guy with legal actions can make him shape up. i dont know if it'll work but I understand how you feel.

Thanks for the support, everyone. I'm going to call the guy again today... he wants to see both my BRBs (a healthy, normal-weight one compared to an undernourished one) I don't know if he will then do something about this pet store or not, but it's a start... I'll keep you posted!

I'd try the vet again too if you run out of options. Any vet that truly cares for the wellbeing of the animals (as she should) should lunge at the opportunity to bring down a pet store like that. If not, she's just as corrupt as the store.
