Non Herp Art

here's a pic of a drawing I did of my Senegal parrot Shadow. i started it last night and think i'm mostly finished at the moment. but i'm leaving it alone tonight again cuz then I look at it again the next day and usually find something it needs. its based off a scanned pic I took of him awhile ago in sienna color. so i'll post the photo first then the piece. enjoy.

thank you. well i'm really in to anime and have a few pieces like that. i also like to create my own characters for anime so I have some I did of my own. as far as like 'real life' art I have just a few. that pic of Shadow is my best piece of 'real life' art in my opinion that I have. i'm very happy at how it turned out.

okay here's a few other pieces that I came up with. the pic of Shadow was done in colored pencils. this pic right here was done in acrylic paint
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...an207/Hand.jpg

this one I designed and thought it was cool. its done in markers
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...an207/Mask.jpg

this one is done in metal. this was the only piece i've ever done in metal and I don't really like working with it. i like the design and subject though so its alright. i couldn't find a place to hang it to take the pic so my computer desk had to do. lol
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...7/Serpents.jpg

this one is colored pencil
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...an207/Link.jpg

just pencil
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rkMagician.jpg

acrylic paint
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...Lighthouse.jpg

done all in pen. no pencil underneath. i was happy with the results with no pencil.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ian207/Yue.jpg

both done in colored pencil. 2 characters that I made up and own.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...istopheles.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n207/Kyrie.jpg

this last one is framed and hanging up in my hallway so it was hard to get a pic of lol. india ink on rice paper
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ChinesePic.jpg

well I hope everyone enjoyed them. comments both good and bad are welcome.
