My powers back for now
i hope it stays on, but im typing this up fast to let you know how things are going here incase it goes out again
All the Herps are alive my male Bearded Dragon gordo looks liike he didnt take the ordeal well, my dad brought home handwarmers so i've been using those for them and he decided to buy a generator so I got about half my herproom running and have been rotating them for heat and food. if the lights stay on for another hour i'll turn on the other tanks and set everyone up in their own homes.
i did loose one fish my pleco that i've had since my first fishtank poor guy
i thought my jack dempsey was dead 3 times once even belly up with stiff spread gills and mouth but he came back as soon as I wamred him up i'll update again soon if the power stays on
happy to have light here, yay I can hit switches and they work!!
incase you didnt know i've been without power since thursday around 12 in the afternoon

Jade, that's such good news !!! we were all so worried for your poor little guys. It's been days withoit power for you, and to have em all come out O.K. is a testimony to your dedication.... Kudos to ya...

I saw some video of the Poconos from the weekend, it looked really bad. Friends of mine went up for the weekend and didn't stay, a tree fell on the house they were in.
Good Luck and if it gets really bad call me and I'll deliver some handwarmers.

i think its going only going to get better now but if you dont hear from me in a while you'll know the power is out again. i'll try to upload so pictures of the ice and broken trees, we have a tree that fell on out house but it didnt do any damage

Jade Its good to hear that you guys are doing ok. People don't think about what it does to those of us that keep herps when we have no power!

phew, it went out agian last night but I think its on for good now. The jackdempseys still living in a sterilite im going to clean his tank before I put him back in. do you think I should get some stresscoat or something for him. lol he's going to be one spoiled fish now. familys calling him the Zombie fish

The stresscoat will be good. Also kick the temps up to about 82 degrees. This will speed up the lifecycle of the ich and make it die off faster.

Ok i'll take good care of him, i can get the stresscoat and stuff on my way home from work tomorrow and i'll keep an eye out for ich
maybe this weekend i'll finally be able to start building my new iguana cage too
