Happy Christmas everyone!
I wa spoiled this Christmas! Joe and I had already exchanged gifts - he got me Earth our chile rose T, and my tatoo, and I got him Sky, the indian ornamental T, and a painting by Mark Amos of a BP called "Royal Descent", plus the adorable little hand-made herps by Jade - a gaboon viper, an ig and an Emerald Tree Boa (thanks Lauren! He loved them! )
I got a widescreen tv, (it's my 21st in Jan so it was a joint present for then and xmas), money (much-needed haha), a fantastic reptile book, my favourite film on DVD (Santa Clause the Movie - yeah!! What a classic!!), some hair-straightners, loads of sweets and chocolate, lots of wine (mmmm ), and too much more to mention (or rather so much more that I can't remember it all!!) Joe was particularly chuffed with his presents from my mum and stepdad - a cd he wanted and the Monty Python film box set!!!
It was very much a family day - morning spent with my mum, stepdad and brothers, then up to Joe's mum's for lunch with his family, back to my mum's for xmas dinner, then onto my dad and stepmum's to see their family! Woo was I wiped out by the end of the day!! Great xmas though, and it's not over yet - lots of xmas family get togethers throughout this week! Hmm more presents?? Ah we are spoiled in this country! But Merlin's right, what could be better than waking up in our lovely homes with lovely family.. my parents got some great gifts for people this year - there is an organisation which allows a child to be "adopted" meaning they get much-need immunisations against terrible childhood diseases, or you can buy such things as a goat or a sheep or a well for the communities with less than us in the third world,. i think that's a great project and definately gives me an idea for next years xmas presents for everyone.
Happy holidays guys!

Being non-denominational I stayed home in bed until 3pm then I took a walk to the convenience store for some snacks, watched a movie, and read some of one of the Pendragon Cycle books and redecorated the boa constrictor cage. My family, being denominational and far away, insists on sending me presents even though I state that I don't need them so I got some socks of several varieties (athletic and ones with toes), a Cross pen, a fleece throw, a stained glass piece, and some money which I will probably spend on more snacks or maybe a ring that I saw and liked. I did my good deed for the day by giving directions to some folks who pulled up next to me while I was having my walk.

WEll, I just got a really mean tokay gecko. It's an awesome gecko I must say!
Oh and I am very suprised my pet co is actually alright in the reptile section. The only thing that was really actually wrong was that the Leopard Geckos did not have humid hides and there was poop in a couple of places on one side. Not a big deal, they cleaned it after I asked nicely.
So to be simple, I am being offered a job to work in the reptile section, and fish section. I may take it...

Hi. Wow, I haven't been here in a while. So Happy Holidays everybody!
Well, I got some random stuff - books, a one-time-use camera... a candelabra (biggest surprise of the night) and I also got to see my brother (furryscaly to most of you) for the first time in months, and a bunch of my relatives for the first time in ages... and for the first time ever I think everybody liked what I got for them, so that was cool, too.
And then yesterday me and Matt went pet shopping, and I sort of got another present - a brown basilisk that we found in a pet store. See, he was trying to talk himself out of, but I wasn't helping because I wanted it, too. So he decided that it would be sort of like an extra Christmas present for me. Cool! Now I'm a herper, too, sort of.
