Talk to the animals?

Ok I'm non-denominational but I had a favorite holiday book as a child that said that animals had the ability to speak at midnight on Christmas Eve. Are you gonna wait up and see what the herps have to say? Should I bother staying up (ok I have insomnia so I'll be up anyway but should I pay attention)? What do you think Duke would say if he suddenly gains a voice at midnight? How about Boyd? I just had him out and he got stuck in my afgan so I doubt he has anything to say to me that I can repeat here it being a G-rated site and all. What would your animals say if they decided to speak at midnight on Christmas Eve?

Haha I know what your animals might say Heather Mine would tell me what a wonderful owner I am, and how much they love me

I know Charley would have a couple of things to say - one about the chinchilla sitting across from his cage and the other about the lack of a girlfriend

Most of the Bearded Dragons are too fat to say anything!! And I'm sure Osiris our male, would have a few things to say about his lazy girls who are actually brumating rather than wanting to succumb to his every mating demand - that's about it for this site, the rest of what comes of out of Osiris's mouth would be deemed too explicit I'm sure

Nice thread Heather,. now, how long do they get to talk for? I've never seen that story. Oh and p.s. Merry Christmas from all our herps!

The only story I remember as a child was the one about the fairy coming down from the top of the tree, singing, dancing and talking to the animals, My lot would sure have a lot to say, especially Tolkein, he would be giving orders out left right and centre, not just to other but me too if they have a Bearded Dragon army, Tolkein was in it, and I can hear Summer now, with a real squeaky voice, the bird would sure have something to say to the reptiles i'm sure, she looks at them odd all the time, oh how I wish I was a kid again, all those happy memories.

Oh man I think my Argies would have a few words for me too... luckily I won't be here tonight as my Girlfriend and I are driving to Austin tonight after she gets off work and then back here tomorrow.

Maria would be telling me how I need to finish her new cage so she has some room to stretch out and of course Enrique would be begging me to put him in with Maria for the night. He won't get to till I finish the new cage sometime next week.

I think mine would probably be screaming at me for more attention. My poor little guys. I've had company over, one of my best friends, so I've neglected my herps in that area. I'm trying to make up for lost time now.
