caging? (again)

i read that using a heat lamp that is too hot could light fire to a plastic container since schneiders skinks need temps from 90-100degrees
how do I make a top for putting a heat lamp on or could I use an under tank heater

your best bet is probably go with an aquarium Ryan. Then you can see him too. Also u might want to post in the right forum and u can add more than one question to a previous thread that you had already started

I say either mke your own enclosure or go with an aquarium. The top of a plastic aquarium will be melten if it gets to hot ofcoarse.

Also, I think you mean a too hot bulb.
The lamps like flukers dome lamps can easily handle 150 degrees so a weak heat lamp may also make the bulb burst.
