It's not really a Problem, though some would consider it one.

Every time I have my Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos on my arm or neck my skin kind of bloats in to a small scratch and circle like shape. Kind of like getting a scratch real quick and then you itch it. Which creates a weird looking bloaty patch like thing on my skin./ usually this lasts for 5 minutes to 2 hours. Usually 3-10 mins is itching, rest is just bloaty weird skin. I must add that it is my skin tone unless I itch it alot, which turns my skin red.

Reptiles are hypo-allergenic. Your skin is probably just sensitive to their tiny nails (my leo's nails irritate my skin too....almost like you can still feel everywhere they've walk, even after their back in their tanks). I've solved the problem by only allowing them to walk on me where I have clothing, which I find they like better cause it's easier for them to hold on.

I agree. It is likely that you are just reacting to the scratches. When our male Bearded Dragon was small you could see where he had been on Kathy's skin by all the red areas. Those little needle tips scratched just enough to cause a mild inflammation. If that is all it does I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same problem with bird feet. Whenever I'd let one of our birds walk on me, if they were directly on my skin, I'd experience exactly what you're describing...red, itchy welts on my skin. It wasn't horrible, just annoying. I solved the problem the same way as Herpmom, by only letting them walk on my clothes. Of course, since we had to get rid of the birds due to my son's asthma and we've got snakes instead, I don't have that problem anymore.
