I miss the discovery channel.

They did find a number of snail shells in the feces. But primarily they eat fruit and only from a certain tree. They climb up and eat it right off the limbs, not off the ground. A zoo keeper in the Philippines has managed to breed a pair in captivity. They're numbers are dwindling to to deforestation and poaching.

Another thing I found amazing was they developed mapping skills. They don't wander looking for food. They know where the fruit trees are that they eat from and make a beeline straight for them.

I watched it on Animal PLanet which might just be a Canadian channel. It was on last night at 8:00.

Aargh. That's really awful because I was actually watching TV at that time (it's a rarity anymore) and I didn't think to check.

Oh yeah, we get animal planet too, so all is well.
