Some of you may have noticed that I am posting some new style of threads. These threads are being pulled from a site I read from, and am now sharing with the community.

The articles pulled (via RSS) are typically more indepth than the average discussion we hold on HC. They also require that the user who wishes to comment read the article first.

Currently I have been placing these threads in the "General Discussion" forum. Since I have the feeds updating every 12 hours, and searching for new articles to discuss, I was thinking it may be wiser to place them in their own forum.

This would allow users quick and easy access to interesting reading that doesn't typically apply to basic husbandry.

Since the discussions are very vast, a basic search on HC won't result in them being located easily.

I am interested in what users think about this. Do you think we should have them grouped in a single forum?

If you do, I would also like some ideas as to what we can call this forum.

At least based on what I have seen so far I think we could probably goup them in the "Herp Awareness" forum.
That is pretty much where similar discussions have been previously located.

Or if we do create a spot for housing these discussion, since they tend to be a little more on the academic side how about
"The Think Tank"

I love it. We get a lot of the same types of posts, with formula answers - what does an iguana eat? What kind of lighting do I need? My animal is sick what do I do?

It's nice to be able to go a little deeper and have some more interesting and diverse conversations.

I definitely think we should keep them together, maybe as something similar to the unleashed forum? Kind of out of the way, so that people who want to participate can, but the people who just want to come and ask a question can do that too, without feeling that they have to be super intellectual to participate.

If it's going to be discussions on articles, why not just call it the Library?

I liked both ideas, so I combined them. The category is called "The Think Tank". The forum is called "The Library".
