Re: Read This :(

I'm the opposite. I like and respect dogs as animals and I fully expect anyone who owns one to take care of it. But given the choice, a snake's life is worth more to me than a dog's. Dogs can be feeder food for me, just fine. Now, I wouldn't buy a pet dog specifically for that purpose, but mostly because of how horrified other people get. I don't feel anything more strongly for a dog than I would for a rat as a feeder.

Of course the dog in this instance couldn't do anything to help or hurt the situation. He's just another animal in the food chain. I feel bad when a pet animal of any kind becomes food, and it's worse that the kids had to see it.

Re: Read This :(

If I Overall I dont realy side with one animal over the other too much, but if it were my dog, i'd have chopped that thingshead clean off. Were it my Snake, I'd have done the same thing to a dog that was threatening it. I am glad the Snake was returned to the Bush though, and hopefully the idiots who owned the dog learned there lesson, Cause Even a snake that big is going to have a hard time properly digesting a child, poor snake. lol.

Re: Read This :(

Well on the bright side, the snake is just going to be relocated and not killed. The kids, i figure, got a good dose of snakes gotta eat too. I just hope through all this the kids dont grow up with an abnormal fear of snakes, but I doubt that...

Re: Read This :(

I get thrilled when I see a 2 ft snake in the wild. Let alone something that big.
