NY Reptile Expo fun

Hi Folks-

Lyn, Jay and I attended the NY Reptile Expo on Saturday and worked with the International Iguana Society to help place rescued iguana from the Long Island Reptile Museum, which was recently shut down.

Here's a few pics of our day:

A large Ctenosaura Similus needing a new home. More than likely he'll make his way to a shelter in Michigan:

Some other Ctenosauras available for adoption:

My son holding one of the Ctenosauras:

Another of Dominick and the large Ctenosaura:

Part 2

Lauren holding one of the available Green Iguanas:

A funny little Black turtle rescued from the museum and adopted out:

Tammy with a Cuban Rock Iguana (Cyclura nubila nubila) which was coming home with us for most of the day until we found another suitable home for him. He is approximately 8 years old and just the sweetest Cuban you could ever handle. That's Steve, Lyn's husband in the background with the red shirt!

Here's Lyn holding the Cuban:

Part 3.

Lyn and I with one of the Greens:

Jay, looking all crazy from failing the 12-step program so miserably, Lauren and their bounty of creatures. I bet you wonder what's in the bag....I'll leave that reveal for Jay:

Seeing you guys together in those pics makes me feel really good. It's always emotional when a team comes together.
